Culturally we are facing a children’s mental health “polycrisis” defined by the compounding of multiple simultaneous crises, of which amplify each other in a new methodology upsetting the systemic well-being of our families.  In addition to the large concerns such as climate change, political instability, energy insecurity, pandemics, etc, the greatest concern that brings me here today is the rapid increase of child suicide in direct correlation to the release of the smart device, and now artificial intelligence.   It appears as though our children are under siege, lacking privacy to explore their natural environment and learn to develop sound sensations of consciousness without screens/smart devices/etc.  

This workshop will equip attendees with greater awareness of child development in combination with critical information about the dark internet, and how to protect our children from the gaping holes in the technology being released every day.  Currently there are no federal or state sanctions that safeguard how to protect a child’s safety and internal sense of security.The facilitator will also teach the importance of human interaction and modelling though the creative arts, athletics, and healthful family rituals. 

The intention is to be present and engaged giving parents concrete solutions and tactics to apply immediately.  Children are remarkably resilient, and need direct guidance and structure to learn how to use technology to benefit their life path, without becoming addicted or far worse become a victim to the negative and harmful effects. 

- Individually all or most families are faced with this polycrisis of how to manage children in this age of over screen access, social media, and now artificial intelligence.  This is compounded by an over exposure to violence, active war across the globe, and civil turmoil across some of our national cities, and the miserable reality of extremely dark adult content, all through a desensitized virtual lens.

This workshop will professionally address how human interaction and the Arts and athletics will help you (& us) raise healthy children while navigating the difficult territory of modern tech safety.
